British Design Fund and Imperial College Enterprise Fund back the healthcare startup to launch its first product.
"The idea for our product came from years spent on hospital wards during my career as a design researcher in healthcare. I noticed that gravity infusions were often inaccurate, and fluid balance management was generally poor. This inspired me to dedicate my career to designing solutions that could make a real difference in patient care."
British Design Fund backs the medical technology startup as it prepares to launch its first consumer products.

The seed round was co-led by Archipelago Ventures and Circular Plastics Accelerator to support the development of material identification scanners.

The Bristol start-up secured £150k from British Design Fund within a £500k raise to accelerate its AI-driven aquatic rehabilitation platform.

Many of these disorders can be effectively treated and managed through water-based therapeutic interventions. However, until now, we have been unable to measure movement in water to assess the power, speed or range of movement with any accuracy. We’re delighted to say Good Boost has cracked that engineering challenge. On the sports side, injuries account for 60% of player absences, with an average of 2.5 injuries per player, per season. Our technology can help ensure that athletes’ recovery, rehab and conditioning is tailored to individual needs, providing analysis and feedback as part of an athlete’s aquatic recovery programme."
