"This is a pivotal moment for Pimloc. We’re scaling rapidly into new sectors, regions, and multimodal workflows, and this investment is a strong endorsement of the platform we’ve built and the category we’re defining. Each investor brings strategic insight – whether in AI, industry-specific domains, or international expansion – that goes well beyond capital. Their backing strengthens our ability to grow thoughtfully, unlock new high-impact use cases, and deliver the infrastructure the world needs for privacy-first AI."
The London-based deep tech startup secured backing from Amadeus Capital Partners, Sure Valley Ventures, and Professor Steve Young to expand its engineering team and refine its neural network training technology.
"We are thrilled to be backed by such experienced investors, and having a seasoned entrepreneur and AI pioneer like Professor Steve Young as our chair is a true privilege. Current approaches to training LLMs and other neural networks are extremely wasteful across multiple dimensions. Our unique solution tackles this inefficiency head-on, with the potential to radically reduce both the cost and time required to train and optimise state-of-the-art models. As we prepare to deliver our first products later this year, we are incredibly excited to embark on the next chapter of our journey—and to help shape the ongoing AI revolution by transforming AI optimisation."
The Cambridge wound care company raised the Series C financing from existing backers to fund US market expansion and product reimbursement.
"Amadeus backed Natrox from inception and it is fulfilling to see this best-in-class technology now available in a growing number of markets. NATROX O₂ is already authorised to sell in 46 countries. It is becoming the reference advance therapy for the healing of chronic wounds across private and public health systems globally. Securing national coverage in the US is another step forward for the team."
The Series C round was led by Planet First Partners to support scaling and technological roadmaps.
"Quantum error correction is the critical enabler for the industry’s next huge wave of progress, from today’s small error-prone machines to large and reliable quantum computers that will start a new age of human progress as significant as the digital revolution."
