You. Smart. Thing. provides a travel demand management and visitor travel planning platform that helps destinations and venues coordinate low-carbon transport. The company enables event organisers to generate personalised travel itineraries and capture emissions data.
You. Smart. Thing. has secured £1.2m in seed funding to enhance its proprietary eco-algorithm and expand its team. The round was backed by the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund alongside several business angels and Ecotricity. The capital will support marketing, product management, and international growth initiatives as the firm targets wider adoption across the live events sector.
The company provides digital travel assistants designed to reduce visitor emissions at venues and major events such as the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. New backers will form an advisory board to guide the company through its next phase of scale.
