The funding round was backed by Mercia and Foresight through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund alongside private investors.
WorkBuzz operates an employee engagement and insights platform that enables human resources leaders to survey staff and analyse workforce sentiment. The company serves organisations seeking to improve culture, retention, and engagement.
WorkBuzz has secured £780k in seed follow-on funding from Mercia and Foresight through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, alongside private backers. The Milton Keynes software company plans to use the capital to create 15 new jobs, introduce platform enhancements, and build an international partner network.
Founded in 2018 by Steven Frost, the employee engagement platform counts clients such as Shell, Premier Foods and HS2. Alongside the transaction, the company appointed serial entrepreneur Jeremy Tipper as chair.
