SOLVE Chemistry develops artificial intelligence models and high throughput hardware to accelerate chemical research and manufacturing. The London based firm works with major pharmaceutical and agrochemical producers.

SOLVE Chemistry has secured £4m in seed funding to expand its team and quadruple its production capacity. XTX Ventures led the round, with participation from SuperSeed, Creator Fund, and Endgame Capital.

The capital will support the company as it scales its artificial intelligence platform and high throughput data collection hardware. The technology aims to help pharmaceutical and agrochemical manufacturers design production lines significantly faster and more sustainably.

The business originated as a spinout from Imperial College London, building upon research sponsored by chemical company BASF. It has since grown rapidly, moving from university labs into dedicated facilities in West London.

From the founder

"Across the different chemical industries everyone wants to be more efficient and produce the compounds society needs quicker, despite the challenges industry faces. We are helping pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and specialty chemical companies do just that."
