The funding round was led by YYX Capital with backing from Accel Partners and Seedcamp, lifting total investment to £12.3m.
Itch is a subscription based pet wellbeing firm offering a monthly home delivery service for flea and worming treatments. The company provides tailored care products and aims to expand into the global pet insurance market.
Itch has secured £7.3m in a seed follow on funding round led by YYX Capital, with participation from Accel Partners and Seedcamp. The fresh capital brings the company total funding to £12.3m and will support international expansion into the United States, entry into the pet insurance sector, and ongoing enhancements to the firm data platform.
Launched in July 2019, the direct to consumer enterprise provides monthly subscription kits for pet wellbeing, addressing preventative care needs for owners across the UK. The business recently appointed Andrew Pinnington as chief executive officer to guide its next phase of growth following strong customer acquisition figures.
