Gendo raises £4.3m in a seed round co-led by PT1 and LEA Partners to scale its artificial intelligence architecture platform.
The seed round was co-led by PT1 and LEA Partners to support team expansion and product development.
London-based Gendo provides an artificial intelligence platform designed to streamline and accelerate architectural visualisation.
Gendo has secured £4.3m in a seed funding round co-led by PT1 and LEA Partners, with participation from Concept Ventures and Koro Capital. The fresh capital follows a pre-seed raise earlier in the year and will be directed towards growing the engineering and commercial teams.
Founded in 2022 by George Proud and Will Jones, the company addresses the high costs and delays traditionally associated with architectural rendering. Its platform converts basic sketches and prompts into detailed visualisations within seconds.
The business has seen rapid adoption since exiting beta, counting prominent firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects among its global user base. Management intends to use the proceeds to train specialised models and expand its market reach.
From the founder
"In my previous experience working in architecture practices, the process of getting images and animations made could cost anywhere from a few hundred to £10,000 and take up to two weeks."

Investor perspective
"What stands out about Gendo – apart from the stellar team – is the fact that they have developed and proven an application that utilises the huge advances in AI for image and video generation that have been made possible by billions of dollars invested in the sector over the past two years."
