BlueSkeye AI is an early stage healthtech company that develops proprietary face and voice analysis technology to measure mood and mental wellbeing. Its solutions serve the digital health and wellbeing and automotive sectors.
BlueSkeye AI has secured £3.4m in a seed funding round led by XTX Ventures. The company was joined by Foresight Group, Praetura Ventures, the University of Nottingham, and a consortium of high net worth individuals.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the company's expansion across clinical and non-clinical health and wellbeing markets, support service providers with early diagnosis of mental health conditions, and fund product development. Additionally, the business plans to establish a physical presence in the North West of England.
Emerging as a spin-out from the University of Nottingham's School of Computer Science, BlueSkeye AI applies advanced research in human behaviour to computer vision and machine learning. Its technology addresses applications ranging from mental health diagnostics to driver safety monitoring systems.
