"As employers across industries try to take advantage of the talent surplus caused by COVID-19, we are seeing an increasing demand for a more accurate assessment of skills – this has led to a 300% growth in demand for our profiling and matching services. We are thrilled to have secured funding to continue in our mission to make the future of work more inclusive and connect the right talent with the right opportunities for their personal and professional growth, regardless of background."

FinTech Collective and Surplus Invest led the oversubscribed financing round, which brings the total Series A raise to €14m.

"Now more than ever before, we find that investors are looking to residential as a safe haven investment asset class. We have built a sourcing, renovations and property management machinery that allows us to quickly assemble €100-500m sized residential portfolios, made up of single unit assets in a matter of months, that generate very attractive stable returns almost instantly. The demand for residential is increasing, and we are confident to deploy scalable capital and generate superior-to-market returns for our investors across European markets. Our proprietary IMMO Intelligence technology helps investors target specific locations within any European city, to get their desired risk-return exposure. The success of Single-Unit-Residential (SUR) as an investment asset class in markets like the US has been very encouraging for us."

"For years, companies have been searching for ways to make office communications faster. Not just for when team members are working from home, but between teams on different floors, different offices or across time zones. None have quite managed to combine speed and efficiency with security and minimal disruption until now. Plus, the potential of Riff is huge. We’re only just scratching the surface of what such a communication tool can do and offer to companies and it’s an exciting road to be on."

The fintech start-up secured backing from the Future Fund to help young people save for a property.

"The challenges facing young people are huge, with a massive wealth imbalance, a complex financial system and little help. We’ve been planning, testing and building Nude to make the financial world fairer and easier, starting with helping people buy their first home faster and easier than ever before."

QVentures backs the deep learning mapping platform in its latest financing round.

"Having seen Abhi and Phil develop the PowerMarket software to fit the energy mapping needs of both grid operators and councils since first engaging with them in November 2019, we’re very excited for the future of PowerMarket and how it can become a staple tool in the smarter and more sustainable cities of the future."
