The Leeds-based tech-for-good startup secured pre-seed backing from Haatch to fuel product development and growth.
"We built Fundin to break down the barriers that keep small charities, CICs, and purpose-led businesses locked out of vital funding. Offering free access to local charities is our way of investing directly in our community and showing how powerful this tech can be in the right hands."
The financing round was backed by a consortium of private investors and values the business at £35m.
"We are delighted to welcome these luminaries to our board. We have spent the past year refining our business model, technology and approach. It is a testament to the power and potential of our technology that we have attracted such high-calibre people to the board, and that our first fundraising round was oversubscribed, closing in record time."
Mount Fund led the investment, which values the legal tech company at £3m pre-money.
"We are at a pivotal moment in the application of technology to professional services and consumer solutions. This is just the beginning of the value AI can unlock, helping users achieve more with fewer resources."
Fuel Ventures led the pre-seed round, which will fund team expansion and product development.
"Foreign exchange has long been a black box. It is often complicated, expensive, and controlled by brokers or platforms that offer little transparency. We started Glyde to give users more control. Whether you are a freelancer billing in euros, a business paying overseas suppliers, or someone managing income across borders, you deserve a faster, clearer and more cost-effective solution. This funding gives us the momentum to deliver exactly that, at scale."
The seed round was led by MTech Capital to support product development and team expansion.
"Insurance touches every part of our lives, from the homes where we live to the roads we travel. We’re building AI that brings clarity and fairness to a complex business process, giving insurers the information they need in real time to make better claims decisions."
