Leeds-based customer engagement platform Build Concierge has secured £3.8m in seed funding from a consortium of private backers. The transaction values the early-stage enterprise at £35m.
The capital injection stems from a group comprising angel investors, high net worth individuals, and founder Martin Port. Alongside the financing, the firm has appointed several senior figures to its board to support commercial expansion.
Established a year ago, the company provides automated communication tools spanning email, text, WhatsApp, and voice channels. The fresh capital follows previous commercial milestones for the founder, whose prior venture, BigChange, was acquired last year.
