The Leeds-based tech-for-good startup secured pre-seed backing from Haatch to fuel product development and growth.
Fundin is a grant management platform that pairs artificial intelligence with expert support to help mission-driven organisations secure funding. The company operates from Leeds and supports charities, community groups, and social enterprises across the United Kingdom.
Fundin has secured £330k in a pre-seed funding round led by Haatch. The capital injection has enabled the tech-for-good startup to drive product development and accelerate its growth.
The company, which is headquartered in Leeds, has expanded its team to six people and marked its brand relaunch by offering free platform access to qualifying West Yorkshire charities. Fundin aims to address structural inequalities in the grant application process by providing smarter tools and expert support to smaller grassroots organisations.
From the founder
"We built Fundin to break down the barriers that keep small charities, CICs, and purpose-led businesses locked out of vital funding. Offering free access to local charities is our way of investing directly in our community and showing how powerful this tech can be in the right hands."
