The £100m credit facility from Pollen Street Capital will provide working capital and fund technology upgrades for small businesses in the UK and Australia.

The funding will support the addition of luxury lodges and facility improvements at Pennant Holiday Park.

The funding from the Development Bank means that we’ve got the capital to invest in the park and set the standard for luxury lodges and holiday homes in this area while also creating jobs for local people. The London fintech secured $112m in debt financing from HSBC Innovation Banking and BCI Capital to scale its operations internationally.
"The challenge faced by small businesses when seeking finance is indicative of the inflexible lending criteria maintained by traditional banks, which often unfairly categorise SMEs as high-risk borrowers. This issue stems from outdated lending practices and technologies which fail to adequately cater to the needs of smaller, asset-light businesses."
Lloyds Bank led the debt syndicate to back the development of large scale battery storage and flexible generation infrastructure.
