The investment from BGF will support global expansion and ongoing product development for the Manchester technology firm.

"Customer experience has become a key driver across a multitude of sectors in recent years which, in turn, has sparked a wave of digitalisation in order to meet the needs and expectations of end users."

The seed round was led by HV Capital with participation from Dutch Founders Fund, AlbionVC, FFVC, and other backers.

"Lenders are really just at the start of the digitalisation journey. kennek is here to help accelerate that journey and provide them with the tools to capitalise on the growth of the non-bank lending space."
— Xavier De Pauw, Founder
Growth
£1.5M

The investment was backed by Mercia and Greater Manchester Combined Authority to help the firm scale its enterprise client base.

"Around 40 per cent of brands with a B2B-focus have still not adopted ecommerce, largely because of the challenge of transferring their business model online. Many companies who come to us do so on the back of a two-year failed attempt to launch a store fit for their business. Shopblocks offers a solution. The funding will help us attract more ‘enterprise’ clients and support our goal to become a £50m turnover business."
— Stewart Reynolds, Chief Commercial Officer

The funding round was led by 24Haymarket with participation from Foresight Group.

"Previsico’s flood forecasting technology provides users with early warnings to take preventative action to reduce damage and losses from flood water. The value proposition to its customers stretches beyond loss mitigation and importantly reduces the negative social impact of flooding. We are thrilled to support Previsico’s CEO Jonathan Jackson and his wider team on this exciting journey."
— Paul Hewitt, Investor Director
