The seed round was led by Point Nine with backing from 20VC and Entrepreneur First.
"I’m a big fan of sharing funny GIFs with friends, but for high quality product animations, we need a format and tool that’s fit for purpose. With LottieLab, we are decluttering the motion design process and bringing it into the 21st century. LottieLab has all the benefits of modern design tools fit for today’s product development teams; being web-based, collaborative and simple, and crucially, there’s no After Effects qualification needed to use it. This is one of the first steps we are taking towards our mission of democratising motion design for everyone, everywhere and to create a world of storytellers, making the web more fun through animations. I’m over-the-moon that Point Nine and our other investors have decided to join us on this journey."
The seed round was backed by Pear VC, Hoxton Ventures, Edison Partners, and the founders of DoorDash.
"The typical pharmacy experience has long been in need of an upgrade, and most pharmacists, despite being well trained and highly knowledgeable, are so bogged down by manual, repetitive tasks that they only have time to provide a basic, transactional service. Our mission is to provide a personalised pharmacy service for people who are on lots of medication that makes accessing the drugs and support they need a whole lot easier for them."
Jenson Funding Partners led the pre-seed round, which will fund product development and augmented reality expansion.
"Technology advancements have made it possible to create a website or a mobile app in minutes but there were no solutions that allowed brands to deliver data-driven user engagement with automation."
Northzone led the seed round to help the startup launch its compensation benchmarking platform and expand its team.
"We’ve experienced first hand how hard it is to hire and retain great teams and scale internationally. Getting compensation right from day one is crucial and it only gets harder the larger you become. When we were growing, we couldn’t find any reliable or real-time data to help us determine the right compensation for each person on our team. We lost great people, and missed out on key hires as a result. We’re surprised that no one has built a better solution to this problem yet"
Aviva Investors backed the wholesale full fibre provider to support the expansion of its Faster Britain networks.
"I am delighted to extend our partnership with Aviva Investors. We have made significant progress over the last two years, building a highly skilled team, scalable delivery capabilities, and creating a substantial full fibre footprint. This further commitment will enable us to continue to rollout our open access wholesale digital infrastructure at pace, giving more businesses access to the connectivity solutions they need to underpin their operations. ITS can now connect any business in the UK via our partnerships with key operators and using our own Faster Britain networks which we are continuing to build out across business dense locations in major towns and cities. We have also invested heavily in developing the systems that allow our partners to easily access high quality full fibre connectivity through our wholesale platform."
