Surface Ventures led the pre-seed round to support product development and team expansion.
"The assumption that bigger is always better needs to go. Specialized SLMs routinely outperform frontier models at role-specific tasks—with greater efficiency and reliability. We’re building the infrastructure and developer tooling to bring those benefits to the enterprise."
The funding round was co-led by Fuel Ventures and Concrete Ventures with participation from Antler.
"Facilities management is the invisible backbone of every building – but the technology behind it hasn’t kept up and has lacked the innovation needed. We built Tyten to solve that, working hand in hand with technicians and help desk teams to understand their real challenges."
Rokos Capital Management led the extended seed round, which brings the company total seed capital to £8.3m.
"Completing our seed round marks another significant step in StirlingX's growth. The confidence shown by our investors allows us to push further and faster in delivering sovereign, secure technology to partners across critical infrastructure and defence. With strong momentum behind us, we are well positioned to scale and deepen our impact across the markets we serve."
The investment round was led by Northstar Ventures with participation from Creative UK and angel investors.
"We are very pleased to complete our investment in Moralbox, which is the third investment from our Venture Sunderland Fund. The Fund supports innovative and scalable businesses with ambitious teams in Sunderland at all stages of their development. Moralbox is developing impressive AI powered training management software and is already working with well-established customers in key industries. We look forward to working with Gordon, John, Steve and the entire Moralbox team to accelerate the company’s growth."
