The funding follows an initial £1.3m investment in 2021 and will support team expansion and product rollout.

Haymarket Ventures leads the pre-seed round alongside Fuel Ventures and 1in100 Ventures to support the startup's official market launch.

The pre-series A round was led by 24Haymarket with backing from Northstar Ventures, UKRI, and Dhiraj Mukherjee.

OMRON Ventures joins existing backers including abrdn, Environmental Technologies Fund, and Granpool Innovative Investments in backing the TechBio platform.
The investment brings the company's total seed funding to £6m and will support international growth.
