Pivigo raises £1.6m from Mercia and NPIF to scale social housing platform
The funding follows an initial £1.3m investment in 2021 and will support team expansion and product rollout.
Sheffield based Pivigo provides an artificial intelligence platform designed to help social landlords manage rent arrears and boost operational productivity.
Pivigo has secured £1.6m in new funding from Mercia and the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund to scale its operations. The capital will be directed towards team expansion and commercial rollout of its rent arrears platform.
The latest injection follows a £1.3m backing from the same investors in 2021, which facilitated product development for the Sheffield enterprise. The company currently employs over 20 staff and counts several housing authorities among its clients.
From the founder
"We are pleased to be working with Mercia to roll it out to social landlords, especially at the current time when the cost of living crisis is putting their tenants’ finances under greater pressure."

Investor perspective
"Social landlords have to strike a difficult balance – maintaining the flow of rental income and preventing a build-up of arrears while supporting those most in need. Pivigo’s platform helps them manage their operations more intelligently and redefine their approach to arrears management. We believe there is a huge potential market, not just in the UK but in other countries with a big social housing sector. The funding will help Pivigo to tap into that."
