"Sitehop is proving the critical need for future-proof encryption, demonstrated by our early customer traction globally. As a Sheffield-founded company, this investment from Northern Gritstone supports our mission to grow and scale in the region and build world-leading sovereign encryption capability right here in the UK – meaning we can accelerate international expansion while keeping the UK at the forefront of world-class cybersecurity innovation."
The funding round was backed by existing investors Mercia and Crown Fund to support international growth.
"The mid-market is in a gap-zone of cybersecurity: too complex for basic tools, too niche for enterprise-level bespoke providers. Talion’s Hybrid Defence model fills that gap by offering transparency, shared control, and solutions scaled to the needs of firms that are growing fast but can’t afford to be overcharged or left exposed. With this investment, we can accelerate our innovation in MDR, threat intelligence, and service delivery for mid-sized enterprises."
Maven Capital Partners backed the cybersecurity specialist via the South West Investment Fund to support manufacturing growth and recruitment.
"Blueskytec has developed a cybersecurity solution that addresses a critical gap in the market, particularly for infrastructure and operational technology systems. Given the rapidly expanding threat landscape and the regulatory imperative for enhanced cyber assurance, the addressable market for the company’s solution is large and growing. We’re delighted to back Chris, Nicky and the team at such a pivotal point in the company’s journey and look forward to working with them as they continue to expand."
The investment round includes participation from Souter Investments, Lanza techVentures and Scottish Enterprise.
"Approov is a leading innovator in mobile app and API security with proven applications in multiple target sectors. With their strong IP and the growing demand for API-level defences across the industry, the business is uniquely positioned to lead this next era of mobile security. We look forward to working with Ted and the team to drive the business forward at such an exciting point in the company’s growth journey."
The funding round was backed by Praetura Ventures through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II.
"This partnership represents more than capital. Praetura brings deep strategic expertise, a strong network, and a shared belief in our mission – to save lives and improve safety through intelligent communication. Their investment is a powerful endorsement of the scale of what the whole team at Audiebant have built, and the global opportunity that lies ahead. With installations now underway in both Europe and North America, and a distributor network spanning dozens of countries, this is a pivotal time for Audiebant. The backing from Praetura will allow us to continue building momentum at speed and scale."
