Talion Cyber Security raises £2m from Mercia and Crown to expand operations
The funding round was backed by existing investors Mercia and Crown Fund to support international growth.
Talion Cyber Security is a managed security service provider offering threat intelligence, compliance reporting and incident response. The business was originally established within BAE Systems before becoming independent.
Talion Cyber Security has secured £2m in funding from existing backers Mercia and Crown Fund. The capital injection will support the company as it expands its footprint across the UK and US markets.
Originally forged out of BAE Systems to protect the London Olympics, the Leeds-based business delivers managed detection and response, threat intelligence and penetration testing. Recent leadership changes include Keven Knight taking over as CEO and Matthew Briggs joining as Chair.
The latest investment aims to broaden access to the company's hybrid defence model for mid-sized enterprises, a sector that faces growing cyber risks.
