The agtech business overfunded its original target on Seedrs to support product development and international growth.
"We’re really pleased with where the round is finishing up. Exceeding our initial target will allow us to continue to build our UK farmer base while also further developing and marketing our new revenue-driving services like payments, finance and haulage. With all of the uncertainty and tough market conditions out there we are here to help farmers realise upto 12 percentage points of efficiencies in their trading. We are adding more and more services to turn Hectare into a full service trading platform to ensure we are giving farmers all the tools they need to conduct their business in the most efficient way."
The Glasgow technology start-up has raised the capital through a crowdfunding campaign and backing from Jacobo Invest UG.
"This crowdfunding campaign was unique as we initially offered it only to industry peers, as an advocacy-building campaign as much as to raise funds. We raised £500,000 in four weeks from 550 investors and closed the campaign early."
The London technology startup raised the capital from High-Tech Gründerfonds, Kinisis Investment, Sandhutch and George Zarifis.
"Before we started Threedium, everyone felt that 3D technology was expensive, slow-to-load and hard to implement. Threedium have disproved by providing 3D solutions across large and small sized companies and creating activations across eComm sites, Social Media, eRetailers and through ad exchange platforms. Our mission is to continue our approach in democratising 3D web technologies for all brands, agencies and individuals"
The London-based trading platform secured £1.2m from a consortium of business angels to broaden access for novice investors.
"This latest investment marks the next step in our journey to make trading accessible to a younger generation and to dispel the myth that the stock markets are only for the privileged few. We’re incredibly excited to have achieved investment from such a hard-hitting roster of angels."
