The London-based startup has secured pre-seed funding from Haatch Ventures and the British Business Bank to expand its team and defence operations.
"We spent years watching companies drown in their own data. The information was there, but getting to it meant waiting on overloaded engineering or data teams, with dozens of tasks ahead of yours! We started Dataline Labs because we believed there had to be a faster way – and now we’re proving it with a vote of confidence from investors and the MoD."
The company raised £730k from backers including a16z speedrun and s16vc to support its artificial intelligence tax platform.
"Taxnova AI-powered platform extracts data from your existing systems to maximize R&D tax claims without wasting engineers’ time. “75% of time is lost on data collection and we’re solving this bottleneck."
The pre-seed round was backed by Haatch and Nicolas Dessaigne to support product development.
"Too many businesses are forced to guess where their marketing budget is working. We built Decima2 to replace assumptions with evidence, so teams can confidently invest in what actually drives results. This funding allows us to double down on building a product that makes advanced optimisation accessible, not intimidating."
The pre-seed round was led by Visionaries Tomorrow and will support team expansion and platform development.
"The energy transition isn’t being held back by technology — it’s being held back by process. Permitting, siting, and regulatory complexity can delay critical projects by years. Nyxium was built to compress that timeline."
