"Sensoteq has developed and launched a market-leading product, giving clients access to previously unobtainable data that is invaluable in ensuring the health and ongoing performance of key production equipment. We have been hugely impressed by the global reach of the company and demand for the technology, and we are aware that customers greatly value and rely upon the technical expertise and support of the entire Sensoteq team. We look forward to working with Idir and Alan to further grow the business."
The financing round was led by Sofinnova Partners, F-Prime Capital, Digitalis Ventures and Cambridge Innovation Capital.
"We’re delighted to have raised this Series A with such high-quality investors whose amazing networks and shared vision will help us deliver highly differentiated TCR cancer therapies. TCR therapeutics are very much at the dawn of their potential. We intend to replicate the success of therapeutic antibodies but build on this in a new dimension, by using the targeting domains of TCR receptors to take advantage of their much greater specificity for cancer cells compared to normal cells. The same logic can be used to target immunosuppressive biologics to tissues impacted by autoimmune disorders."
The Series B round will help fund the deployment of the company's tokenised cash innovation and global liquidity management ecosystem.
"Our Series B funding round represents the financial sector’s desire for a central bank money backed blockchain-based settlement solution that bridges the gap between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralised finance (DeFi) in wholesale markets. Each Fnality Payment System utilises DLT to provide a 24/7 payment rail with the ability to reduce settlement cycles to real-time, while significantly improving intraday liquidity management and marking significant innovation in the speed, functionality, and resilience of wholesale payments."
The seed round was co-led by Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund and Scottish Enterprise to support laboratory establishment and team expansion.
"Our mission is to provide physicians and patients with highly potent, targeted antimicrobial therapies that can kill antibiotic-resistant bacteria for which there are diminishing options available for treatment,"
