Keyring Network equips financial service providers with permissioning tools for compliant transactions on-chain. The company operates at the intersection of traditional and blockchain-based finance, serving as an institutional gateway.

Keyring Network has secured £4.7m in a seed funding round co-led by gumi Cryptos Capital and Greenfield Capital. The capital will support the company as it works to drive mainstream adoption of blockchain-based finance and expand institutional access to compliant digital assets.

Additional participants in the round included Motier Ventures, Kima Ventures, UDHC Finance, Eberg Capital, and a group of angel investors. The company uses zero-knowledge technology to enable financial institutions to interact with compliant counterparts while maintaining privacy.

Founded in 2022, Keyring addresses regulatory compliance and liquidity challenges in the real-world asset tokenisation space. Recent milestones include a proof-of-concept with Laser Digital, the digital asset subsidiary of Nomura.

Investor perspective

"Keyring’s asset-level solution is the most flexible ZK compliance tool catering to financial institutions’ individual DeFi risk appetite. Users can restrict themselves in terms of counterparty interactions, so they can be as conservative as they would like to."
