The Cardiff-based medical technology firm raised pre-seed funding led by SFC Capital and OVC Ventures to expand its home diagnostic tools.
"By empowering patients with innovative tools and ensuring they are remotely monitored by clinicians, we’re shaping the future of healthcare to be more accessible, personalised, and efficient. We are grateful to our investors and grant partners for their support in making this vision a reality."
JuneX Capital Partners joins the ongoing pre-seed round of the London-based edtech startup.
"This isn't just funding — it's validation of our mission and a partnership that energizes our journey. Building a startup is hard — finding the right talent, making first sales, raising funds — it's all HARD. But milestones like this prove that you can do hard things. We are thrilled to have JuneX Capital Partners supporting our vision to transform education."
The pre-seed round was backed by Haatch to accelerate platform development and international expansion.
"Today’s recruiters are incredibly busy and have to constantly switch between their work and personal mobiles, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, and other channels to communicate with candidates and clients. None of these conversations are being tracked in the CRM or brought together in one place. Recruiters are spending up to two hours a day on manual tasks like writing up call notes, gathering messages and updating CRMs."
The oversubscribed round was led by Venrex with participation from 8VC, Form Ventures, and several venture scout funds.
"With the adoption of AI in creative tools, the amount of creative work is now growing by 30% a year. For example, last year, more photographs were generated than have ever been taken by human photographers. So, we’ve been asking ourselves ‘what infrastructure is going to be needed to manage this volume of work?’. One problem that doesn’t scale well is issue checking – there’s no Grammarly for creative work and to date this tedious work is still done by eye. Beyond issue checking, we believe AI provides creatives with insights akin to accessing a panel of experts. We see the role of AI as enabling people’s creative processes, not replacing them"
The pre-seed round was backed by Geocartography Knowledge Group to support technological development and product expansion.
"We are happy with the continued expansion of Geocartography Knowledge Group, also beyond the borders of Israel, and the deepening of our influence on the industry of market research and public opinion surveys. Our investment is both in the future of Geocartography Knowledge Group and in the future of the industry."
