The Exeter-based travel technology business has secured equity funding led by The FSE Group.
"Travel to events is often expensive, inefficient, and environmentally damaging. STAXY exists to change that. Our technology gives fans better options and clubs better data. With this new investment, we’ll be able to build on our early momentum, deepen our technology offering, and scale our impact across the events industry."
The funding round was led by CDAM with participation from Mouro Capital, Iona Star, Flintlock Capital, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments.
"We’re excited to be partnering with such an experienced group of investors with deep expertise in the fintech space. This funding underlines the demand we’re seeing for our breakthrough tech which cuts time-to-launch, costs, and risk for banks and other businesses looking to innovate. The next 18 months will see us scaling rapidly with new solutions in retail and commercial banking, loyalty and rewards, wealth and asset management, and reg-tech markets worldwide."
The oversubscribed angel round attracted 14 investors and will support trial phases ahead of a formal product launch.
"Every parent knows the feeling of being stuck in daily device battles – you set the rules for your child but their friends don’t have any, so suddenly you’re the mean parent. But I know from experience with my own children and their screen time that these rules are absolutely essential not just to preserve the conditions necessary for healthy childhood development, but to teach them good digital habits that’ll protect them while they’re online. That’s ultimately why I left a career in consulting to found Orbiri. I genuinely believe that you can’t win as a parent acting alone – we’re facing a systemic challenge that requires collective action."
The oversubscribed round was led by Fuel Ventures to accelerate growth across the UK and the US.
"As a clinician, I’ve seen how much of our time is swallowed by paperwork and antiquated systems. Synthax is our answer to that – to equip outpatient clinics with the same AI advantages larger institutions enjoy. The gap in this market is enormous, particularly in the US where thousands of independent clinics still lack access to modern tools. This investment will enable us to hire top engineering talent and accelerate our growth across the US and beyond."
Calculus Capital led a £1.5m seed investment to fund product development and international expansion.
"Frontline workers are the backbone of the service economy, yet they remain under-served by outdated systems that make tipping opaque, distribution slow, and compliance a headache for employers. With the shift to a cashless society and the introduction of the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act 2023, businesses are under increasing pressure to manage tips fairly and transparently, while workers struggle to make their earnings go further."
