The LCR Angel Network backed two regional start-ups following a pitch event supported by the British Business Bank.

The fine jewellery brand secured the investment from entrepreneur Steven Bartlett in exchange for a 3% equity stake.
"We know that lab-grown diamonds are the future. Sharing our story on such a huge platform like Dragons Den was a unique opportunity to help spread the word about this relatively new technology, which allows beautiful diamonds and jewellery to be made, without costing the earth."
The sustainable knitwear brand will use the capital to launch new collections and scale operations.
Several members of the Angel Academe network have participated in the latest funding round.
Jenson Funding Partners backed the London platform to support technology development and team growth.
