The London-based residential energy services company has raised debt financing from Barclays to widen access to domestic green technology.

"Many homeowners naturally want to invest in renewable technologies but are put off by the extraordinarily high upfront costs. That’s why we’re focused on removing barriers to help more households take control of their energy bills and carbon emissions. We’re delighted to be working with Barclays to help us develop and scale flexible finance solutions with all-inclusive cover built-in, to enable homeowners to make the switch to clean, green energy with confidence."

"Decarbonising heat is critical to achieving our net zero targets. Rendesco’s heat network solutions provide a cost-effective and efficient route to delivering the low-carbon heat required for the transition away from gas to renewable alternatives. This investment aligns with our commitment to empower early-stage entrepreneurs to tackle the climate change crisis."

Axiom Equity led the Series C financing, which will be used to scale headcount and develop artificial intelligence features.

"Having hit a critical milestone with over 1,000 customers, we are now poised to take the AccountsIQ product and service to the next level. This investment comes at a perfect inflection point for our offering, to allow us to leverage AI tools into practical, easy-to-adopt services for our user base; to make finance team roles more flexible, valuable, less repetitive, and indeed more interesting."

With over a million people in our target demographic in the UK seeking support for their financial goals, the demand for innovative wealth management solutions tailored to their unique needs is undeniable. Sidekick exists to ensure that it’s not just the ultra-wealthy that have access to the tools and products needed to secure long-term financial prosperity."
