Univa Health raises £1m in pre-seed funding from YZR Capital and Calm/Storm Ventures to advance its digital care platform
The pre-seed round was led by YZR Capital to support clinical trials and platform development for eating disorder care.
Share allotment filed at Companies House
Univa Health builds personalised digital care platforms designed to help healthcare systems manage and treat eating disorders. The company provides interconnected apps for patients, families, and clinicians to improve monitoring and recovery outcomes.
Univa Health has secured £1m in a pre-seed funding round led by YZR Capital, with additional backing from Calm/Storm Ventures. The capital will be deployed to support the development and commercialisation of the company's digital care platform for eating disorders. Furthermore, the proceeds will finance Univa's inaugural clinical study in partnership with the NHS and facilitate the recruitment of technical, product, and clinical personnel ahead of a planned platform launch in early 2025.
The raise comes as healthcare systems face mounting pressure from rising eating disorder admissions and capacity constraints. Univa aims to alleviate these pressures by equipping clinicians with evidence-based tools for remote monitoring and tailored treatment plans, ultimately expanding patient access to timely care.
