The company has raised fresh capital from Blackfinch Ventures, Italian Angels for Growth, and Blockchain Valley Ventures to fuel product development and commercial growth.
The virtual reality training platform raised the seed capital from backers including Pi Labs and Ada Ventures.
"Ever since we invited MOONHUB to be a part of Pi Labs’ 2022 Growth Programme, we’ve, quite frankly, been ‘over the moon’ to be a part of its ambitious journey from such an early stage. We see in Dami, Vinh and Hannah the entrepreneurial flair and innovative abilities that will enable MOONHUB to become a global leader in VR training technology."
The seed round was co-led by Insurtech Gateway and AV8 Ventures to support the launch of new insurance products for chronic conditions.
"Insurtech Gateway and AV8 Ventures are the ideal partners for Bluezone Insurance; their deep industry expertise, insurance network and track record of de-risking early-stage insurtech businesses from regulatory approvals and insurance capacity clearly differentiates them from other seed stage funds. Collaborating with them will accelerate our process of launching a product into the market and achieving the milestones required for the next investment round. During our fundraising journey, they provided us with ample support, progressed quickly and made introductions to impactful angels and excellent co-investors."
Future Planet Capital led the round as the med-tech startup prepares for international market launches.
"This funding allows AMLo to embark on the next step of our journey with the resources to potentially relieve countless people with early-stage melanoma from the anxiety and follow-up burden that should be reserved for those with higher risk disease. I am delighted to welcome several new investors, and especially to see such strong additional commitment from our previous partners. Our levelling up from an academic spin-out to commercial success is critical to ensure we have the resources to further drive innovation in medical devices across our markets."
The round was led by Blackfinch Ventures with participation from Praetura Ventures and the British Robotics Fund.
"Interest in intelligent chat solutions has exploded, as more organisations realise that this is accessible platform technology they can deploy instantly which completely changes how they deliver customer service. It is testament to our progress as a business and the appetite from our customers that we’re welcoming Blackfinch as an investor, along with increased support from Praetura and the British Robotics Fund."
