The funding round was led by Toscafund with participation from Dale Ventures.
INSTANDA provides a no-code core insurance platform that digitises the insurance value chain for carriers, brokers, and managing general agents. The technology enables insurance providers to launch and manage products rapidly across property and casualty, life, and health sectors.
INSTANDA has secured £36.8m in Series B funding led by Toscafund, with participation from existing backer Dale Ventures. The capital will be allocated towards expanding the company footprint across Europe, the US, Japan, and the UAE, alongside further developing its platform capabilities and marketplace.
The latest raise follows strong momentum through recent years, during which the firm added numerous clients globally and strengthened its executive team with senior hires from the insurance sector. The platform allows insurers to configure products and manage portfolios significantly faster than standard industry norms.
From the founder
"INSTANDA’s no-code insurance core platform was built by insurers for insurers based on the belief that technology should be used to accelerate change and innovation at low cost. This is what sets INSTANDA apart from the crowd. No other platform allows carriers and MGAs across all lines of insurance to fully embrace the diversity of insurance and respond to the anticipated change in consumer needs and behaviour."
