The London-based startup raised the Series A round from Index Ventures and Visionaries Club to scale its automated finance operations.
"Adfin is building the agentic finance platform for money movement: automating the workflows finance teams use to get paid, manage their money, and, in time, much more. And we’re doing it the way our customers keep telling us they want: safe, auditable, trackable, with humans firmly in control. By owning both the underlying financial infrastructure and the agentic workflows on top, we’ll let finance teams deploy agents in a way nobody else can,"
The investment round was co-led by Apis Partners and Aspirity Partners to support global expansion and product development.
"We are thrilled to partner with Paymentology – a company that operates at the centre of an attractive and fast‑growing segment in the global payments ecosystem – and build on our decade plus relationship with the executive team. Leveraging our global connectivity and sector expertise across the payments value chain, we look forward to supporting management as they continue to scale, extend their capabilities and deliver meaningful, lasting impact by improving access to modern financial services worldwide."

The Manchester-based startup has secured backing from DSW Ventures to further develop its AI agent platform.
"Nexco.ai has a compelling combination of a strong founding team, a well-defined market and a product that is already generating commercial interest. This makes Nexco.ai a truly exciting opportunity, and we’re thrilled to be backing the team at this early stage."
The laboratory simulator firm raised the funds from new investor Foresight Group alongside Mercia and Finance Yorkshire.
"Laboratory equipment is challenging to operate and technical problems are commonplace. Each service call-out typically costs manufacturers $2,500 and a breakdown can seriously disrupt health services by delaying critical test results. Envoke is tackling these problems. Customer feedback shows our system helps laboratories to reduce downtime and provide more consistent operator training, while enabling manufacturers to cut service costs and boost revenue."
Thrive Capital is set to lead the financing round, which would value the artificial intelligence drug discovery startup at more than triple its previous raise.
