Mykor has raised £4m in a funding round that brings its total capital raised to £7.5m. The investment was backed by the South West Investment Fund, managed by The FSE Group.
The biotechnology firm produces sustainable building products through proprietary bio fabrication technologies, using agricultural and industrial waste streams to help decarbonise the construction industry.
The company will use the capital to scale up its manufacturing capabilities and deploy its technology across key markets alongside global partners.
