Maven Capital Partners led the equity investment to help fund product enhancements and international expansion.
"CMS has built an impressive platform that can transform many businesses across different industries. Alex and the senior team are all highly driven, experienced individuals with a genuine entrepreneurial focus and we look forward to supporting the business as it enters this exciting next phase of growth."
Two new investors have joined the board with a combined 40% stake after a six week process.
"This was a particularly enjoyable project to work on. Management were always responsive and professional in their dealings with investors we introduced. Terms were quickly negotiated and from start to finish the whole investment process took just six weeks and that included all of August!"
The oversubscribed round was led by BGF and Green Generation Fund to support team growth and facility expansion.
"We are delighted to welcome BGF and Green Generation Fund along with Volta Energy Technologies to our investor base. Their experience of building successful break-through technology businesses in battery and sustainable technologies will be invaluable. With an outstanding investor syndicate to support us, we continue our mission to make fluorochemicals production safer, cheaper, and more sustainable. This investment will play a huge part in our journey to scale and commercialise our proprietary technology with key partners across the global fluorochemical supply chain, and in accelerating the development of a technology that can provide a reliable and localised supply of a key component of Li-ion batteries."
Clarendon Fund Managers led the £3.8m financing round to support international growth and product development.
"With Neal and Yvette at the helm, Reform RX is an ambitious company that shares our vision for the future. It will be the must-have piece of equipment for every Reformer Pilates enthusiast and studio. The deal is the largest initial investment we have ever completed in a single NI company here at Clarendon, which is a reflection of the confidence we have in the team at Reform RX. I can’t wait to see how their journey develops from here."
