The investment round was led by the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland to support international commercial expansion and product development.
"We’re delighted to have the support of the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland and our other new and existing investors at this key stage in our journey. This funding will enable us to significantly scale sales of our current medical devices, and also to extend our product portfolio through additional FDA approvals. Our technology offers an entirely new approach to treating serious global health challenges through safe, non-invasive neurostimulation."
The funding was secured via an advanced subscription agreement from backers including Lexham Partners and Araya Ventures.
"We’re on a mission to end the crisis in workforce health by making preventative healthcare scalable, measurable, and accessible. This investment will accelerate our growth in the UK, take us to profitability, and set the stage for international expansion."
The London healthtech startup secured backing from Balderton and Pentland to scale manufacturing and regulatory pathways for its continuous glucose monitor.
"During their time at Imperial, they worked in one of the pioneering research groups that invented modern glucose strip technology. Their combined expertise in electrochemistry, biosensing, and medical device engineering laid the foundation for Sava’s next-generation biosensor platform."
Members of Henley Business Angels back Anya in the network's second-largest investment to date.
"We are fortunate to receive the investment from Henley Business Angels and looking forward to our new stage of growth with the great support from HBA investors!"
The health tech company surpassed £500k on Crowdcube with backing from more than 100 investors.
"Reaching the £500,000 threshold is an exciting moment, one that reflects investor belief in our mission to make diabetes screening simpler, earlier, and more accessible. With healthcare systems under increasing pressure, innovations like GTT@home can reduce clinical burden while improving patient experience and outcomes."
