Praetura Ventures and Verge HealthTech Fund co-led the seed round to support preventative care for severe mental illness.

"We understood CareLoop’s mission, vision for transforming severe mental illness aftercare and the wider roadmap from our very first meeting with the team. Fast-forward to the present day and we’re incredibly excited to not only be supporting the company with investment but also the more than money guidance and network support it needs to scale and deploy its technology across the NHS and other global health institutions. The company is a testament to the quality of spinouts coming out of the University of Manchester, and the North West’s universities more generally. In addition, it’s great to see the GMC Life Sciences Fund by Praetura and the NPIFII – Praetura Equity Finance funds collaborate alongside co-investors from the UK and Singapore."

The investment round was led by Nauta with participation from Venrex and Episode 1.

"2024 was an excellent year for Zelt as we launched our new Growth module, onboarded our first 1,000+ headcount organisation and closed a new round of funding that will enable us to invest even more into building the best product available in the market. We see a $50bn opportunity globally as organisations move away from legacy and point solutions, to a next-generation all-in-one platform. Alongside the capital, it’s great to have such an experienced and well aligned investor like Nauta on board as a partner at this stage in our journey."

The maiden funding round was led by Cornerstone VC and Ascension to support team expansion and platform development.

"ComplyStream is addressing a critical pain point for financial institutions. Their approach to unifying compliance tools and applying AI-driven insights, solves a problem I saw first hand as COO of OakNorth Bank and is precisely what the industry needs to stay ahead in today’s regulatory landscape."
— Amir Nooriala

Northern Gritstone led the seed round with backing from Finance Yorkshire and NPIF II, Praetura Equity Finance to fund team expansion and product development.

"The robotics market is growing fast, but that growth would be exponentially higher if the tremendous cost and complexity of programming robots were reduced. Robotics has an almost unlimited potential to help humanity solve global challenges, but the world simply can’t afford to wait for robotics to standardise around a single operating system and coding language. BOW’s universal software platform and SDK elegantly solve this intractable problem by enabling any software developer to program various types of robots using the coding language of their choice, make portable applications and enable easy interoperability between any make and model of robot. This £4 million seed investment, led by Northern Gritstone, will be used to build on our strong commercial traction to date, expand our brilliant team and accelerate our product development so we can unleash the full potential of robotics for the betterment of our world."
— Nick Thompson, CEO
