The Angel CoFund marks its first Northern Ireland investment by backing Sophia's advertising technology.

Midven's Exceed Fund backs Leamington Spa-based software provider Webmoco in a multi-tranche deal.
"Though we have made substantial progress in developing the software product, we are now keen to move at a pace which suits our ambitions, and this funding is necessary to help us do that. The software platform has many benefits improving efficiency and transparency, and can be used across all devices and is intended to replace paper-based systems."
The round was cornerstoned by a £300k syndicate investment from London Business Angels.

The company secured backing from the Low Carbon Innovation Fund and Angel CoFund to expand its distribution network and ready its Shepherd monitor for launch.

The funding round was led by an international corporation and will support headcount growth and product commercialisation.
