Abundance Generation has completed an £850k funding round with backing from a syndicate of Angel Academe members. The capital will be deployed to accelerate commercial growth and capitalise on recent marketing campaigns.
Founded to connect retail investors with renewable energy initiatives, Abundance allows individuals to support projects such as wind farms and solar arrays. The company has previously facilitated millions in loans from thousands of lenders and collected various industry accolades.
Angel Academe participated in the latest financing following a pitch by co-founder Louise Wilson earlier in the year. The network focuses on supporting ambitious teams and increasing female participation in angel investing.
