Fleetcor and Good Energy backed the round to support international expansion and product development.

"This fundraising round allows us to accelerate Zap-Map’s core mission – making it simple for current and future electric vehicle drivers to plan journeys, search and pay for electric vehicle charging. Good Energy has proven a powerful partner to date and we are delighted to have a new strategic collaboration with Fleetcor which will supercharge our ambition to accelerate the provision of services to the fleet market and allow us to look ahead and expand internationally."
— Richard Bourne, Chief Executive
Series B
£2.6M

The final close of the Series B round brings total funding to $26.1m with backing from ST Engineering Ventures.

"The Asian market is a critical area of growth for AAM, and one we are committed to cultivating. Investment from Kanematsu Corporation, and now ST Engineering, demonstrates that our confidence in and focus on this market is well-founded and supported by industry leaders from across the region. ST Engineering has been a strong partner of ours for some time now and we are honoured to develop that relationship further with the company joining Skyports as an investor. We look forward to bringing our expertise together to expand our capabilities."
— Duncan Walker, CEO and Co-founder
Series C
£49.9M

The Series C round was led by Legal & General with participation from existing investors.

"This funding round is a huge milestone for Onto as it sets us off on our journey to Europe. Germany, a nation with an incredible automotive history as Europe’s biggest car-producing country, is a market with huge potential and a great appetite for electric cars. We’re excited to offer something different."
— Rob Jolly
£10.1M

The consortium led by AGS Airports and NHS Scotland will use the capital to conduct live flight trials and build physical infrastructure.

"The CAELUS project is set to revolutionise how healthcare services are delivered in Scotland. A drone network can ensure critical medical supplies can be delivered more efficiently, it can reduce waiting times for test results, and, more importantly, it can provide equity of care between urban and remote rural communities."

Pre-Seed
£650K

The Birmingham-based smart electric vehicle startup has raised funds to expand manufacturing and advance autonomous mapping.

"We are delighted that AIN investors have backed our vision of transforming the mobility sector with a powerful and portable alternative to full size Smart EVs such as Polestar, Tesla and Lucid. There is simply no 2-wheel EV platform on the planet that would take all large 4-wheel EV perks and make them portable, from eliminating range anxiety to worldwide tracking to supercharging."
