Fleetcor and Good Energy backed the round to support international expansion and product development.
Zap-Map operates the leading electric vehicle mapping and charging payment platform in the United Kingdom. The service enables drivers to locate charge points, plan routes, and settle transactions through a single application.
Zap-Map has secured £9m in Series A funding to accelerate its product development and pursue international expansion. The investment comprises contributions from new strategic partner Fleetcor and existing backer Good Energy. The capital will enable the mapping platform to scale its development team and enhance its payment solutions for electric vehicle drivers across the market.
Fleetcor provided £5.3m of the total, establishing a partnership that integrates its Allstar payment network into the Zap-Pay service. Good Energy contributed £3.7m, reinforcing its stake in the business as part of a wider strategy supporting clean transport infrastructure. The transaction values Zap-Map at £26.3m post money.
From the founder
