Equity Gap led the seed financing for the Edinburgh based manufacturer of custom fit respirators, with backing from Scottish Enterprise, Old College Capital, and Apollo Informal Investment.

"We realised that by combining modern 3D imaging with 3D-printed soft materials, we could create bespoke, perfectly fitted masks that conform to the unique contours of each face. In our first comparative trial, our masks proved more comfortable than standard disposable alternatives. Since then, we’ve refined our design dramatically yet we’ve remained true to our original mission: to create the most comfortable, personalised respiratory masks possible, suited for every face. We believe the days of painful, pressure-inducing masks are finally over."

The financing round was backed by existing major investors and new participant Trinity Capital.

"CMR is a competitive, well-established company with a transformative product providing clear clinical value. We are now at a pivotal stage, poised to capitalise on significant opportunities for market expansion, including in the U.S., while continuing to penetrate deeper into existing markets. I would like to give thanks to our CFO, Andre Nel, and the team for securing this financing to provide the foundation for realising our strategic vision of making robotic assisted surgery accessible to all patients who need it whilst accelerating future product development."
— Massimiliano Colella, Chief Executive Officer

The pre-seed round was led by Huw Bishop and backed by a syndicate of angel investors including PlayCap and The Games Angels.

"Representation in video games is more important than ever, and technological limitations have long constrained the scale of customization developers could offer. With our proprietary technology and our upcoming game “YOU VS ZOMBIES”, we’re breaking those barriers—creating fully personalized, ever-evolving experiences for every player. This level of customization was previously unattainable, but thanks to advancements in generative AI, we’re making it a reality right here inWales."

Global Wealth Group backed the seed round to accelerate the company's growth across Europe.

"Wealthyhood was born from a simple realisation: the financial system has failed to offer meaningful access to the vast majority of people. Access doesn't mean being able to buy a stock from a mobile app. It means having the tools, knowledge, and guidance to reach financial independence on equal terms. We share a common vision with Global Wealth, a vision for democratising investments and empowering our generation for financial prosperity. Our goal is to build the best investment app a user could ask for, combining education, savings, investments, and automation. Above all, however, our goal is to build a relationship of trust and transparency with the Wealthyhood community. This isn't given away, can't be written in code, nor bought with ad campaigns. But we will earn it, step by step! In just two years, we managed to attract over 50,000 users in one of the most competitive and demanding markets, that of the United Kingdom, with minimal marketing spend. With the strategic support of Global Wealth, we want to become the go-to app for millions of Europeans who want to build their financial future. We are on a mission to help you get started investing, become a better investor day by day and build wealth under your own terms! And we’ll do that as the first Greek investing app!"
