Zegami secures £1.3m Series A funding from RT Capital Management and Oxford Technology and Innovations EIS Fund to scale its visual data platform.
The financing round was led by RT Capital Management alongside the Oxford Technology and Innovations EIS Fund.
Zegami is an augmented intelligence company providing visual data exploration platforms to help businesses unlock insights from complex datasets. The firm originated as a spinout from Oxford University.
Oxford University spinout Zegami has secured £1.3m in a Series A equity funding round led by RT Capital Management and the Oxford Technology and Innovations EIS Fund. Existing backers Oxford Sciences Innovation and Oxford University Innovation also contributed to the financing. The capital will be directed towards product development of the company's next generation data visualisation platform and driving commercial growth through marketing initiatives and partnerships.
The latest capital injection follows earlier funding rounds, bringing the company's total investment backing to £4m as it aims to scale its machine learning data analysis tools. Zegami currently serves thirty-five clients across various sectors, ranging from healthcare diagnostics to human resources analytics.
