Yapily provides open banking infrastructure that allows companies to access financial data and initiate payments. The firm supports digital transactions and account services across multiple European markets.
London based fintech Yapily has secured £4.2m in seed funding from HV Holtzbrinck Ventures and LocalGlobe. The capital will be deployed to expand the company technical team and build out its sales operations to meet increasing demand from commercial clients. Yapily operates an open banking API platform designed to help enterprises connect with retail banks across Europe for data retrieval and payment processing. The latest injection of funds arrives as the regulatory landscape shifts ahead of broader European open banking mandates.
