Wobble Genomics is a University of Edinburgh spin-out that has developed a novel approach to RNA sequencing. The company focuses on detecting full-length RNA to support various biotechnology applications.

Genetic sequencing specialist Wobble Genomics has secured a £1.2m investment round led by Eos Advisory, with participation from Old College Capital. The funding will support team expansion, intellectual property strengthening, sales growth, and clinical outcome demonstrations.

The capital forms part of a wider £2.2m seed financing that also involves a deeptech venture capital firm and private backers. Wobble emerged as a spin-out from the University of Edinburgh's Roslin Institute in April 2021 under the leadership of CEO Richard Kuo.
