Vivify secures seed funding from Arete Capital Partners to expand its school facilities platform across the UK.
Arete Capital Partners led a multi-million-pound investment to help Vivify scale its operations and increase its network of partner schools.
Vivify operates a digital platform connecting schools with local groups to hire out sports and leisure facilities outside of teaching hours. The business helps educational institutions generate additional revenue to reinvest in their grounds and pupils.
Vivify has secured a multi-million-pound seed investment from Arete Capital Partners. The fresh capital will enable the digital platform provider to expand its operations across the UK and increase its network of partner schools.
Founded in 2020, Vivify connects communities with school facilities such as sports pitches and halls to boost physical activity and generate secondary income for educational institutions. The transaction was facilitated by several legal and financial advisors including Hill Dickinson and Grant Thornton.
From the founder
"The investment from Arete will allow Vivify to raise awareness of its platform among many more underutilised schools up and down the UK, enabling more people to get involved in social and physical activities – at a time where it has never been so important."

Investor perspective
"It’s exciting for us to work with an entrepreneurial management team who have developed technical differentiation via Vivify’s booking platform to put schools right at the heart of its business model. The social and health benefits sit naturally alongside the economic benefits to schools and the surrounding area. We are looking forward to adding value to Vivify with our existing knowledge of scaling similar types of businesses and helping them to grow the market and all the social and economic benefits that brings."
