Vira Health raises £9.2m from Octopus Ventures to expand menopause app offerings

Vira Health is a digital health company that creates technology products to improve women's long-term health and wellbeing. Its primary offering is Stella, an application designed to provide personalised menopause support and treatment plans.
Vira Health has secured £9.2m in new funding to expand access to its menopause care offerings and introduce additional services. The investment was led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from Optum Ventures alongside existing backers.
The fresh capital will be directed towards driving the growth of the Stella application within the United States market, conducting clinical trials, and integrating telemedicine and medication options into the platform.
