Vira Health raises £1.5m in seed funding to expand product development and team size
LocalGlobe and MMC Ventures backed the seed round to support the launch of its personalised menopause care application.
Vira Health is a digital health company that creates technology products to improve women's long-term health and wellbeing. Its primary offering is Stella, an application designed to provide personalised menopause support and treatment plans.
London based digital health company Vira Health has secured £1.5m in a seed financing round. The capital was provided by venture firms LocalGlobe and MMC Ventures alongside a cohort of prominent angel investors. The enterprise will direct the new funds towards product development and team expansion as it launches its flagship menopause support application, Stella.
Founded in 2020, the company aims to address systemic gaps in female healthcare by deploying data driven, personalised care pathways. The initial funding milestone marks the beginning of the venture's broader mission to enhance healthy life expectancy and mitigate later life chronic conditions for women globally.
