Research technology company uMed has secured £3.7m in a seed follow-on funding round. The investment was backed by AlbionVC, Delin Ventures, Playfair Capital, and Silicon Valley-based 11.2 Capital.
The fresh capital will be deployed to scale the health tech startup's software platform, which automates administrative processes in clinical research registries. By streamlining patient outreach, electronic consent, and data capture, the technology aims to reduce the burden on clinical teams while ensuring strict regulatory compliance across studies.
