Thalamos raises £900k in a seed round to expand its mental health digitisation platform.
The seed round was backed by Ascension, Syndicate Room angels, and a Seedrs crowdfund to support product and team growth.
Thalamos provides a digital platform designed to streamline and secure processes under the Mental Health Act. The system replaces paper forms to give patients quicker access to acute care.
Thalamos has secured £900k in a seed funding round to support its mental health technology platform. The investment was backed by Ascension through its Conduit Impact EIS Fund, alongside angel investors via Syndicate Room and a private seedrs crowdfund.
The capital will be directed towards team expansion and product enhancement as the firm scales its digital workflow solutions for mental health care providers. The platform aims to eradicate delays and administrative burdens associated with paper forms under the Mental Health Act.
Hadley Diest of Ascension will join the board as an independent advisor following the transaction.
