The clean tech start-up has raised £2.4m to fund expansion plans and roll out its portable solar sculptures.
Solivus develops lightweight, ultra-thin organic solar panels designed for large commercial roofs and residential use. The company aims to expand clean energy generation across the UK.
Solivus has secured £2.4m in a seed follow-on funding round led by Founders Factory and G-Force, with participation from Crowdcube investors. The fresh capital will be directed towards expansion plans and the commercial rollout of the company's portable solar sculptures for residential properties. This latest injection brings the total capital raised by the clean tech firm to £5m.
Operating in the clean energy sector, Solivus provides flexible organic thin-film solar panels that wrap around flat roofs on large structures such as warehouses and stadiums. The company is currently trialing its technology at Cotswold Airport to power the site and support hydrogen aircraft, while also offering plug-and-play solutions for homeowners seeking alternatives amid rising energy prices.
